1. Acceptance of terms

By booking a lesson, purchasing a package, submitting a form on our website, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Alyaa Driving School provides driver education and related services in and around Staten Island, New York, which may include:

• Behind-the-wheel driving lessons
• Package programs (lessons, practice tests, and related support)
• 5-hour pre-licensing class options where offered
• Road-test vehicle use and appointment scheduling assistance for eligible packages

Service details, duration, and inclusions depend on the specific package purchased and what we confirm at booking.

3. Eligibility and student responsibilities

• You must hold a valid New York learner’s permit or driver’s license as required for the service booked.
• You must follow instructor directions and all traffic laws during lessons and road tests.
• You must arrive on time, sober, and fit to drive. We may refuse or end a lesson if safety is at risk.
• You are responsible for bringing required documents (permit/license, glasses if needed, and any DMV paperwork).

4. Booking, payments, and pricing

• Bookings are confirmed only after we accept your request and, where required, payment is received.
• Prices are as quoted at the time of booking. DMV fees, road-test fees, and third-party charges are separate unless expressly included.
• Packages are non-transferable without our written approval.
• Unused lessons in a package may expire if not used within the timeframe stated at purchase (or within 12 months if no timeframe was stated).

5. Cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows

• Provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of the lesson fee or deduction from your package.
• If we must cancel due to weather, vehicle issues, instructor illness, or safety concerns, we will reschedule at no extra charge.

6. Road tests and vehicles

• Road-test vehicle use is available only with qualifying packages and subject to instructor/vehicle availability.
• Passing the DMV road test is not guaranteed. Results depend on your performance and DMV examiner decisions.
• We are not responsible for DMV delays, appointment changes, examiner availability, or policy changes.
• Damage caused by reckless or negligent student conduct may be charged to the student to the extent permitted by law.

7. Safety and conduct

We reserve the right to refuse service, end a lesson early, or cancel remaining package sessions without refund if a student is abusive, intoxicated, repeatedly late, or creates an unsafe environment.

8. Website use

• Website content is for general information about our driving school and services.
• You may not copy, scrape, republish, reverse engineer, or redistribute our site content, branding, or design for commercial use without written permission.
• Unauthorized copying or mirroring of this website for commercial reuse is prohibited.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New York law, Alyaa Driving School and its instructors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from lessons, scheduling, road tests, or website use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct where such limitation is prohibited.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alyaa Driving School from claims arising from your breach of these terms, misuse of services, or failure to follow instructor or DMV requirements, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
